WWE Stars Appearing On NBC’s The Weakest Link WWE

The rebooted version of The Weakest Link returns on April 11 and WWE stars will feature on an upcoming themed episode.

Now in its third season, the series is hosted by Jane Lynch who is also an executive producer on the NBC show.

During season three, WWE fans can expect to see Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, The New Day and The Miz as contestants on a WWE-themed episode.

The Weakest Link has played host to WWE stars in the past, with the original run between 2001 and 2003.

There would be two WWE specials, with the 2001 seeing Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, William Regal, Big Show Kurt Angle, Booker T, Trish Stratus, and Lita facing general knowledge questions and the withering reaction of the host Anne Robinson and Triple H beating Stephanie McMahon to the victory.

2002 gave us a cast of Steve Austin, Debra, Edge, Terri Runnels, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Jerry Lawler, and Kane, with the Big Red Machine taking Bubba Ray Dudley to sudden death and seeing off his opponent.

While the new series of The Weakest Link starting on April 11, no air date has been set for the WWE themed episode at the time of writing.

The episode has already been recorded, however, with clips from the show featuring in adverts for the new season.
