A rumoured potential surprise for WWE WrestleMania 40 has been spotted in Philadelphia ahead of the premium live event.
It was recently reported by Fightful Select that WWE was hoping to get recently retired Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce to make an appearance at the show in Philly this weekend.
Kelce retired just last month, and spent his entire career playing for the Eagles, so him showing up at the event in Philadelphia would be very fitting.
In an update from PWInsider, Kelce has indeed been spotted in Philadelphia ahead of WrestleMania 40.
While Kelce does obviously live in Philly, when a WWE source was asked by PWInsider if Kelce was set to take part in the event itself, they said:
“I can’t tell you that, but if he was, you’d think we’d book him to do something physical in the stadium he called home, right?”
Kelce is the brother of Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chief Travis Kelce, the boyfriend of pop megastar Taylor Swift.
We will provide any updates on a potential WrestleMania appearance from Kelce as they become available.
