During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted that the lumberjack match between Damian Priest and The Miz at WWE WrestleMania Backlash was pre-taped.
This is not the first time that WWE has done this, as with no fans in attendance, WWE has occasionally pre-taped matches that need additional special effects rather than broadcasting them live on pay-per-view.
The match was notable, not only for being received rather negatively by fans, but also because it has emerged that The Miz suffered a torn ACL during the bout, which you can read more about by clicking here.
The match also caught the attention of one Chris Jericho, with the former AEW World Champion taking to social media on Sunday night to take some shots at WWE for the involvement of zombies in the pay-per-view match.
