WWE’s Current Stance On Ricochet Push Revealed

After recent reports about Ricochet and his current level of push on SmackDown, WWE’s current stance on the star has been revealed.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported over the weekend that Ricochet is currently positioned as the number two singles babyface on SmackDown behind Drew McIntyre on WWE’s internal roster list.

Ringside News has now provided an update saying that a creative team member described the situation as “Ricochet having a good week, this week” and “we’ve been down this road before, let’s see if it lasts”.

We’ve seen it plenty of times in the past when WWE has seemed to have plans to elevate Ricochet, but never fully followed through.

The creative member also brought up his upcoming match on SmackDown as “a good spot to be in on the road to WrestleMania”.

The WWE star is set to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship on this Friday’s episode against Sami Zayn.
