WWE’s Plans For Authors Of Pain Revealed?

For the last few weeks, WWE has been airing hype packages for the return of Akam and Rezar, collectively known as AoP.

Many people expected the former NXT and Raw Tag Team Champions to return to TV at the WWE Draft. However, they were nowhere to be seen.

With regards to their future, Dave Meltzer is reporting on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that the current plan is for Akam and Rezar to appear on Raw upon their return to TV:

“Authors Of Pain are gonna be on Raw. I don’t know if they were drafted or not, but I know they’re gonna be on Raw.”

Yesterday WWE announced that a massive nine-man tag team turmoil match would be taking place at Crown Jewel later this month to determine the best tag team in the world.

Perhaps WWE could insert AoP into the match before the event takes place, and have the duo pick up the big win to put them over on their return to TV.
