Asuka LEAVING WWE Rumor Killer! HEARTBREAKING WWE INJURY! WrestleTalk News Video

Nixon Newell Injured Again?!

They say bad news comes in threes and it does on WrestleTalk because It just makes sense to have all the injury news in one video…

Segway? Sad Segway.

Sadly, yep, it’s more injury news as Tegan Nox, perhaps better known as Nixon Newell y’know from t’indies, suffered a particularly nasty injury at the Mae Young Classic Tapings at Full Sail University.

Wrestling Inc had a correspondent in the crowd who said Nox was wrestling Rhea Ripley when she landed badly from a dive and apparently injured her left knee.

The referee threw up the dreaded “X” symbol and doctors came to the ring to check on her.

Nox wanted to continue the match but she screamed out in pain after Rhea hit a dropkick. Nox then threw up the “X” herself and the ref called for the bell.

Nox was seen sobbing in the ring as the Full Sail crowd went silent. Nox was then helped out to a standing ovation.

This is a devastating blow for Nox who missed the 2017 tournament due to an ACL injury. She only just returned to the ring in April of this year at an NXT live event.

Shortly after the tapings Triple H discussed Nox’s injury with EspnW:

“The doctor looked at it and it was so painful at the point that he couldn’t manipulate the disc to see if it was an ACL. So we have her headed over to the hospital now and check what it is.”

Tegan while obviously upset was ever the professional, taking the time to tweet and thank fans for their support and say:

“This isn’t how I planned to finish the Mae Young Classic in any shape or form but the last two days have been the best of my life, despite the obvious!”

“My match with Rhea is something I’ve wanted for a while because damn that girl is talented (even if she is very moody, tongue sticky out emoji). Freak accidents happen but to hear that she had a killer match with one of the best wrestlers in the world Io Shirai made my heart swell with happiness.”

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, everything happens for a reason, so no matter what the full extent of this injury is, I’ll be back and I’ll be shinier than ever!”

She then added this one hundred percent verified and medically accurate drawing of what happened.
