It seems Jason Jordan selling a concussion in his Royal Rumble tag championship match on Sunday is only partially ‘a work’, as it’s covering for a very real injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Jordan has a “significant” neck injury, not a back injury like previously stated; and while he’s been working through it, he’s now having issues with his grip, “and that is usually very serious”. This is why Jordan has been protected in the ring in recent weeks, barely featuring in Sunday’s match and not appearing at all on Monday’s episode of Raw.
And continuing the Shield reunion curse – following Roman Reigns missing their first match due to illness at last October’s TLC pay-per-view, and Dean Ambrose being taken out for nine months with a tricep injury – the Observer notes “[Seth] Rollins is also working on a bad back.”
Although Crossfit Rambo Apocalypse Jesus himself has denied this on Twitter:
Guys, my back is fine. Has been fine. #fakenews
