We are now two months into The Undertaker officially having an Instagram account, where we’ve seen the Deadman post selfies with rappers, share trips out with his wife Michelle McCool and even use emojis… RIP kayfabe
And now in honour of Father’s Day, The Phenom has shared his favourite present.

With another photo that shows the gun safe’s ‘Deadman Inc’ logo, and Taker not being very good at framing photos, with his head cropped out the image.
And that’s not the only thing Undertaker’s been cut out from!
How’s that for a segue!
SummerSlam Match Scrapped?
…as it looks like the rumoured Undertaker vs John Cena rematch has been dropped from this month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
After years of being kept apart, the two finally faced each other in a WrestleMania match back in April – which Taker won in just under three minutes.
But despite the two huge names involved – with Taker coming out of ‘retirement’ from the year before – WWE never confirmed the match in advance. Instead, Cena called out the Deadman every week on Raw, and wasn’t answered until mid-way through WrestleMania.
But that match wasn’t a one-off, as The Undertaker then wrestled Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble three weeks after – because, money! – and then featured in the main event at WWE’s Madison Square Garden show last month. Taker appears to be an active part-timer again.
Cena, meanwhile, wrestled Triple H at Greatest Royal Rumble, to then go on his latest hiatus from the company to do voiceovers for every animated film role on the planet.
But two weeks ago, amidst rumours of Undertaker vs Cena II at SummerSlam, John teased the rematch by posting a picture of a zombified hand rising from the dead on Instagram.

The Wrestling Observer is now reporting there have been backstage discussions about the match taking place, with the idea going “around in certain circles including insider circles”. But with no hint of either man’s return with just two weeks of TV left, it appears the rematch has been scrapped for SummerSlam.
John Cena WWE Return Revealed
That’s not to say the two could have a surprise encounter, though, just like how their WrestleMania match wasn’t confirmed until the show had already begun. But Cena has since tweeted:
The 6th move of doom.
Ready for #WWEShanghai.
Sept 1st.— John Cena (@JohnCena) August 3, 2018
Implying that his next WWE appearance won’t be at SummerSlam, but at the China live event next month – which is the same day Kane officially becomes the mayor of Hard Knox County, Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expires and the Cody Rhodes and Young Bucks-run All In show takes place. It’s going to be a busy day.
