PWG Battle of Los Angeles (BOLA) 2018 kicked off Friday night with first round tournament action live at the Globe Theatre in LA.
BOLA is a yearly three-night tournament that includes 24 singles competitors battling it out to become champion.
Past winners include massive names such as IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega (2010), NXT‘s Adam Cole (2012), and two-time champion and current NXT North American champ, Ricochet (2014 and 2017).

Here are all the results from the first day of action this past Friday:
- Rey Horus defeated Adam Brooks
- Flamita defeated Puma King
- CIMA defeated Jody Fleisch
- Bandido defeated T-Hawk
- Joey Janela defeated David Starr
- Brody King defeated PCO
- Non-tournament main event: Ringkampf (WALTER & Timothy Thatcher) defeated Ilja Dragunov & Shingo Takagi
