In a rare case of SmackDown featuring logical progression in its booking, a stipulation has been added to the Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair women’s title match on Tuesday night.
The new stip states that if Lynch is disqualified she will lose her title, following on from her DQ defeat to Flair at Super Showdown on Saturday.
Lynch was unhappy with the news, tweeting:

Regular criticism
At times this year, SmackDown writers have received regular criticism for seemingly illogical follow ups to pay-per-view non-finishes.
That was particularly the case in the AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura rivalry and, more recently, in the Samoa Joe vs. AJ feud.
Considering the backwards way WWE have booked the majority of the Lynch-Flair storyline, this is a positive step.
That being said, we would be staggered if the match did not end with a count out finish, leading to a no count out, no DQ match or a last woman standing bout between the pair at Evolution.
Have WWE turned a booking corner or have they merely lucked into something that makes sense? Let us know what you think.
