It looks like Mandy Rose could be set for a big things in 2019 after it was reported that Vince McMahon is very high on her.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is suggesting that WWE’s chairman is keen on pushing Rose as a star and a possible future main player in the women’s roster.
Although the nature of the proposed push isn’t clear, it was described as being similar to the push that Lana received earlier this year, when she was thrust into the SmackDown Live women’s title picture.
Lana’s push was ill-fated, as she soon fell back into the manager role beside husband Rusev, but that’s not to say Rose will suffer the same fate.
Rose is currently locked in a feud with Naomi, most recently making an attempt to seduce her husband Jimmy Uso using mistletoe. I know, real blood feud.
But once this feud is over, and if Rose were to come out on top with Sonya Deville by her side, it could be the first step in a push.
Whether that’s as a singles star or whether the duo will be pushed as contenders for the recently announced women’s tag team championships, it’s far too early to say.
