Just before Christmas, on the first episode of WWE’s “New Era”, fans were promised the debuts of six NXT stars. EC3, Lars Sullivan, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans and Heavy Machinery were all lurking and ready to debut.
Several weeks later, and there has been no sign of any of them. Admittedly, Evans and EC3 have both had dark matches against Natalya and Curt Hawkins respectively. Evans lost to Natalya while EC3 beat Hawkins, but then so does everyone.
Aside from this, there hasn’t been a suggestion that any of the other call-ups are close to debuting. Until now…
PWInsider are reporting that every single one of the call-ups will be in attendance at both Raw and SmackDown Live this week, leading many to believe that we could be in for at least one or two main roster debuts.
Which brand they’ll all head to is anyone’s guess, but it is believed that Nikki Cross will be joining SmackDown Live alongside her former SAniTy stablemates. She has also appeared at a number of SmackDown house shows, so it’s just logic.
Raw’s tag division is crying out for something new, so hopefully Heavy Machinery will be heading there, but as for the others, who knows.
