New Japan Pro Wrestling has teased a new challenger for Juice Robinson and his IWGP United States Championship. During Wrestling Dontaku Day One, a video was revealed declaring “Time’s Up” for Juice Robinson.
The video shows an individual playing with an hourglass in a bar. He was wearing a jacket with a British flag patch on it, presumably giving a clue as to the wrestler’s origins. The video concluded with the date June 5th. This is also the date of the Best of the Super Juniors final. This likely means this will be the date of the challenger’s debut.
Juice Robinson has been IWGP United States Champion since Wrestle Kingdom 13. He won the title from Cody and has most recently defended it against Chase Owens at the New Japan Cup Final. This is currently his second reign with the title, having previously won it last year from Jay White at G1 Special in San Francisco.
