Tetsuya Naito has defeated Kota Ibushi to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Dominion. Naito hit his patented Destino to keep Ibushi down and reclaim the title.
This is Naito’s fourth reign with the title. His most recent reign ended when he lost the championship to Ibushi at G1 Supercard. Ibushi successfully defended the title against Zack Sabre Jr. at Sengoku Lord.
Ibushi appeared to suffer an injury in the match. While they were brawling on the apron, Naito hit a german suplex where Ibushi’s head hit the apron. It was eerily similar to how Ospreay hit his head on the apron last year.

Tetsuya Naito now looks to complete his goal of holding the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the IWGP Heavyweight Championships simultaneously. He had said that was his new goal during his previous reign, now he will look to finish what he started.
