Alexander Wolfe left SAnitY when the group split up just after WrestleMania 35. However, it took the former Smackdown man just over two months to find himself a new stable.
The German wrestler joined the Imperium faction just last week on NXT UK TV. The group is led by the WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, and also features Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner.
The group will likely feud with British Strong Style in the coming weeks. However, while speaking to TalkSport, Alexander Wolfe laid out a challenge to a dominant faction from the American iteration of NXT.
“Two words for you: War Games. “I [put up] a picture [online] right now with Imperium on it—and it’s happened before already—some fans, they want to see it, they post underneath it, ‘Give me Undisputed Era vs. Imperium.’ I would love to go against them inside the two rings and the cage around it.”
Alexander Wolfe is the first main roster star to seemingly make a permanent move to NXT UK. Wolfe also sung the praises of those working with him in Britain:
“The NXT family is big. We all know each other from the Indies. NXT [US] is bigger, has more production, NXT UK is quite new, but what is not quite new are the people in there with their experience. A lot of people have wrestled a long time before NXT UK on the British circuit, on the Indie circuit in Europe, worldwide. People have been over to Japan, and they have a lot of experience, so the product is new, but the people know what to do, and they are good.”
