Former AEW wrestler Kylie Rae made her in-ring return last night at Freelance Wrestling/Freelance Underground Game of the Genders after going off the radar following her release from AEW.
Rae filled in for Shotzi Blackheart on short notice as Blackheart couldn’t make the event, and even picked up the win over Isaias Velasquez.
Tony Khan revealed after All Out on August 31 that Rae had been released from AEW as per her request. The reasons have since been kept private but the release was said to be amicable.
Last night’s bout was Rae’s first since her June 1 match in which she defeated Shazza McKenzie at a Black Label Pro show.
