Last week’s debut episode of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX drew nearly 3.9 million viewers.
That should not come as a surprise, as the show featured the WWE return of The Rock, and a WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Brock Lesnar.
This week’s show featured the 2019 WWE Draft, a Smackdown Women’s Championship bout and a singles match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
However, ShowBuzz Daily is reporting that the show this week only drew 2.89 million viewers.
This means that nearly 1,000,000 people who tuned in to last week’s show decided not to watch again this week.
This will be very very worrying for both WWE and FOX, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see some big changes made next week.
Despite this, Smackdown still drew significantly more viewers than the 2.334 million that Raw managed to bring in.
