It seemed that after being revealed as the biological son of WWE Hall of Famer and former Olympian Kurt Angle, that Jason Jordan was set for big things in WWE.
However, a shoulder injury and some issues with surgery later and many believe we have seen the last on Jordan in a WWE ring.
It was thought he would be taking on his father at WrestleMania 35, but was injured in January 35 and has since been working as a backstage producer.
The issue seems to be some kind of nerve damage which is affecting his ability to grip with his left hand, but daddy Kurt doesn’t think this is the end of Jordan’s in-ring career.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Angle said he expects to see Jordan back in the ring at some point.
“He’s good. I expect him to come back. He’s still waiting. He has some problems with his circulation and using his left hand. So, he’s going to have to wait a little bit longer. He might need another surgery, that might be why he still is not able to function properly, but he’s a lot better than he was.”
Angle also showered praise on the man who defeated him in his final match at WrestleMania 35, Baron Corbin.
“Baron’s a great wrestler. He’s a great talent. A lot of people don’t like him, but he’s good at his job. He’s the top heel in the business right now. I know people might naturally hate him, but that’s a good thing. I got to wrestle the top heel in the business, that’s how I look at it.”
