Earlier today wXw announced one of the final participants who are going to compete in March’s 16 Carat Gold Tournament for a shot at the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship: Lio Rush.
The former Cruiserweight Champion, who competed for wXw before in 2016, is the 13th wrestler to be announced for Europe’s biggest wrestling tournament.

Rush will be joined current PROGRESS Champion Cara Noir, Eddie Kingston, Lucky Kid and Mike Bailey among others to compete in the 3-day single elimination tournament.
Rush is not the only familiar face from NXT to appear on the show. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic participant Alex Shelley is booked for Day 2 of the event.
The No. 14 and 15 spot in the tournament were won by The Rotation and Julian Pace as both won a mini tournament at a live event respectively.
The final spot will be announced later this weekend.
