Details on the full planned pay-per-view schedule for WWE in 2020 have surfaced, and it’ll be interesting to see if they can go ahead as planned or not.
The pay-per-views that we’ve already seen were:
- Royal Rumble – 26 January, Houston
- Super ShowDown – 27 February, Riyadh
- Elimination Chamber – 8 March, Philadelphia
- WrestleMania – 4-5 April, Performance Center, originally planned for Tampa
- Money in the Bank – 10 May, Performance Center, originally planned for Baltimore
The following are upcoming events which have been officially announced by WWE:
- Backlash – 14 June, no location announced
- Extreme Rules – 19 July, San Jose
- SummerSlam – 23 August, Boston
Those details are up in the air due to the coronavirus pandemic, but WrestleVotes has revealed the current planned schedule for the rest of the year following SummerSlam, which is as follows:
- Clash of Champions – 20 September, Newark
- Hell in a Cell – 18 October, Atlanta
- Unnamed – 5 November, Saudi Arabia
- Survivor Series – 22 November, Dallas
- TLC – 20 December, Chicago
As noted, it’s unknown at this time whether these events will be able to go ahead in their planned locations, and which states will still be preventing large gatherings due to the pandemic. It’s been reported WWE’s plan is to return to shows in front of live audiences as soon as it can, and is very much hoping that happens by SummerSlam.
