There’s some more news on Renee Young and Jon Moxley after Young announced she’s one of several names in WWE to have tested positive for COVID-19.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Young is already feeling better and seems to have gotten over the worst of the virus after feeling sympotmatic earlier.
Her positive test wasn’t actually administered by WWE, although WWE did test everyone at the latest tapings.
Moxley has since tested for the virus, but his result came back negative. However, this could just be because of a delay in showing symptoms and doesn’t 100% mean he doesn’t have it.
They are still living together, but are said to be keeping a safe distance from each other. Moxley pulled himself out of last night’s AEW Dynamite so as not to put anyone there at risk.
This could have an impact on Fyter Fest where Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage. That match is set to be taped on July 2 (next Thursday) and will air on July 8 (the followin Wednesday).
