Former WWE star Rusev has recalled a time he was yelled at backstage ahead of a match by a talent who is currently with the company.
Speaking on his Twitch channel, the Bulgarian recalled SmackDown commentator Corey Graves yelling at him regarding something he wanted to do during a match.
This will of course have been when both were wrestling in NXT. Rusev said:
“Oh, also one time, Corey Graves yelled at me before a match, I never told you that. Because I wanted to do something, he didn’t want to do it. I was like, ‘It’s not really a big deal, you know, it’s just a little thing I want to do’. He said ‘I don’t want to do that’.
“He was very sour at the time. Corey has changed because he was really sour at the time, because I think he knew that they were kind of looking at me, and he was really sour about that.”
He did go on to add that the two are on good terms nowadays and there’s no heat between them currently.
