WWE’s Braun Strowman has commented on the ‘receipt’ he got from Brock Lesnar back at the 2018 Royal Rumble event.
On the show, Strowman, Lesnar and Kane took part in a Triple Threat match for the Universal Championship, with Lesnar retaining the title after pinning Kane.
During the match, Strowman took a rather stiff right hand from Lesnar in a clip that has since become rather well known among wrestling fans on social media.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Strowman detailed the receipt he got from Brock, noting that Lesnar wasn’t happy after Braun had accidentally stiffed him with a knee earlier in the match.
He said:
“I got a little overzealous with him and he had to check me. At the end of the day it’s two big dominant dudes out there going at it, and things happen, this ain’t ballet.
“I stiffed him on accident with a knee and he wasn’t happy about it so he clobbered me on the side of the head. I like to think I’m the only human on Earth that’s taken a right hand from Brock and didn’t go night night, I went 20 more minutes in the match.
“It didn’t feel good, you can see the slow motion, my skull moves and my skin catches up.”

Strowman made his return after almost a year out of action on this week’s episode of Raw.
He was drafted to the Raw roster as part of the second round of night two of the WWE Draft.
