More news has come to like regarding talks between WWE and the USA Network about moving NXT permanently to air Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays.
Fightful Select is reporting that this idea was pitched a while ago by the USA Network.
The network is said to be less committed to the idea of being competitive with AEW every week than WWE itself is, because so far it’s been clear that NXT performs better when unopposed.
There’s no official word yet on whether the move will go ahead, and neither wrestlers nor officials have been informed of any such change.
The USA Network is very much using these two weeks as a test run to see how it goes, with the show airing on Tuesday next week too.
