Triple H told stories about how talent were at the Capitol Wrestling Center and during a break, they were watching the legendary Patterson vs. Sgt. Slaughter match from Madison Square Garden. He added that the whole crew was watching the match as if it were a live event with cheering and booing.
Patterson was one of the great workers in the business working for Roy Shire in San Fransisco in the 1970s. After retiring from the ring, he went to work backstage at WWE. In that role, he helped mentor many of the top wrestlers of all time such as The Rock, Chris Jericho and John Cena.
