Last night All Elite Wrestling welcomed Snoop Dogg to AEW Dynamite. It was his first appearance on the show as he and Cody Rhodes promoted their show “The Go Big Show” on TNT.
Now, there is an update on WWE’s reaction to Snoop Dogg’s appearance on their rival’s show. He has appeared on many WWE shows over the years including major events like WrestleMania XXIV. He was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 so many people were curious as to WWE’s reaction to him appearing in AEW.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that WWE has no problem with Snoop Dogg appearing in AEW. The report states that people in WWE expected him to do something with the company to promote his new show. Additionally, there is the feeling backstage that as he doesn’t have a deal with WWE there is no reason to have heat with him.
This is somewhat surprising considering the controlling nature of WWE but Snoop Dogg has always been a guest of theirs rather than a homegrown star.
Sasha Banks has tweeted about her cousin’s appearance where he did a very poor frog splash, saying they will have to work on that.
