The January 8, 2021 edition of WWE SmackDown featured 2 championship matches. The first was Big E vs. Apollo Crews. Big E retained.
However, the next title holders wouldn’t be so lucky. Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode have defeated the Street Profits to become the new WWE SmackDown tag team champions.
The story of the match was that Montez Ford injured his knee on a dive to the outside. Angelo Dawkins fought hard, but eventually, he had to tag in Montez Ford.

Ford battled hard, but his knee was just hurt too bad. Ziggler attacked the knee.
Ziggler and Roode then debuted their new finishing move. They hit a combo Spinebuster and Zig Zag. The finishing move was a nice combination.
We’ll just have to see how long of a reign The Dirty Dawgs will have.
