It has recently been revealed that AEW star Chris Jericho blocked a WWE star on Twitter following a political tweet last year.
With Chris Jericho set to appear on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, it appears that there’s no ill will between Jericho and WWE. The same olive branch might not be extended to certain members of the roster, with MVP revealing that Jericho blocked him on Twitter.
Jericho recently tweeted out a unique offer to any wrestlers that follow him. Explaining that 5 people will have the opportunity to receive advice on their matches from Lance Storm, Jericho promoted Storm’s virtual coaching sessions enthusiastically.
Storm shared Jericho’s tweet, advising his own followers to throw their name into the hat. MVP explained that he cannot see the original message, tweeting:
“I can’t see it because I’m blocked. (6 laugh emojis)”
According to MVP, he was blocked after telling Jericho to “delete this”, with “this” being Jericho’s controversial tweet surrounding the US election.
Jericho has recently discussed one of his reasons for leaving WWE. Claiming that plans for him to main event WrestleMania were scrapped, Jericho felt insulted with his final place on the card.
