Chelsea Green was released from WWE back in April of this year as part of that month’s group of WWE releases.
WWE filed to trademark the name ‘Chelsea Green’ last year when Green was still under contract to the promotion, with her giving them permission to trademark the name.
WWE replied to an Office Action on August 5, stating that the name identifies Chelsea Green and that she had given them permission to trademark the name, providing a letter of consent from Green, although that was dated from November 2020.
Green herself began the process of trademarking her name back in April, following her WWE release.
