They did it. When WWE drafted Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair to SmackDown, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to Raw, many fans wondered about the future of both titles.
The Street Profits and the New Day saw themselves in a similar situation with the Tag Team Championships last year, and they swapped the championship in a backstage segment.
History repeated itself on tonight’s (October 22) SmackDown show, where, in fact, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair simply swapped championships.
The Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champions are set to face off one-on-one at Survivor Series in four weeks time.
