One of the top title matches at AEW Revolution underwent multiple changes leading into the pay-per-view.
Per Fightful Select, the AEW Women’s World Title Match between Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and Thunder Rosa had their finish changed multiple times in the weeks leading into the event.
No reason was given as to why, but the company seems to be setting the stage for a rematch on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam special in Thunder Rosa’s hometown in two weeks.
Most fans believed that Rosa would claim the title at the show, but the St. Patrick’s Day Slam special will mark the one year anniversary of Rosa and Baker’s Lights Out classic.
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. made her entrance with a brand new AEW Women’s World Title belt.
Fightful learned that Leather By Dan produced the belt in only three weeks and was inspired by the Mid-South North American Title belt.
