The 2021 edition of the AEW All Out pay-per-view was very highly acclaimed by the fans who watched, including CM Punk’s first wrestling match in seven years, as well as the closing moments that saw both Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole make their AEW debut.
However, it was not just a critical success for the company, as per the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the event broke the company record for pay-per-view buy rates.
“Regarding All Out, the 205,000 buy estimate in week one, turned out to be on the nose. They’ve gotten all the numbers in from the cable companies and total buys were 205,000, beating the previous company high mark by 41 percent. The show grossed $10 million in total revenue which would be the most for a non-WWE promotion for a single show since 1999.”
