The current front runner for WWE Royal Rumble 2023 location may have potentially been revealed.
Per Fightful Select, WWE’s Royal Rumble event for January 2023 currently has the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as the front runner.
This is the same location as the 2017 event and it was the site of the 1997 edition.
Nothing is confirmed or official until the venue and location is officially announced.
The company has run the Rumble at domes or stadiums every year except for one since 2017 and every edition since 2019, so this lines up well.
As previously mentioned, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast noted recently that WWE is planning on running more stadium shows per year than ever before.
We will have further updates on next year’s Royal Rumble event when and if they become available.
