The latest chapter in the Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns saga is about to be written, as the Beast made his return on tonight’s (July 17) SmackDown.
The main event of tonight’s show saw Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for the first time, when he retained against Riddle.
Following the match, Roman Reigns took to the microphone, saying that he has now wrecked everyone and is leaving, before Brock Lesnar made his first appearance since WrestleMania and confronted the champion.
Brock then laid Reigns out with an F5, seemingly revealing WWE’s ‘back up plan’ for SummerSlam following Randy Orton’s injury.
