There is a new update on the status of Vince McMahon for tonight’s edition of SmackDown.
A new report from the Wall Street Journal has indicated that Vince McMahon has paid over $12 million in “hush money” over the past 16 years to “suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity”, including a $7.5 million payment to a former WWE wrestler. Click here to see the full report.
Per PWInsider, McMahon has arrived at tonight’s SmackDown taping and is in his regular role directing creative.
It remains to be seen if this will be his only position for the show.
As previously noted, Vince McMahon has also been reportedly scheduled to travel next weekend for a top WWE star.
