Huge Potential Spoiler For ROH Death Before Dishonor Main Event

Huge Potential Spoiler For ROH Death Before Dishonor Main Event AEW

A huge spoiler has potentially emerged on the result of the ROH World Championship match at Death Before Dishonor.

During Saturday’s (July 23) pay-per-view, Gresham will defend his gold against AEW’s Claudio Castagnoli.

Gresham was in action during the July 16 AEW Dark taping, with matches from the taping set to air over the next few weeks on AEW Dark.

The current ROH World Champion made his entrance without the gold during the taping, for the first time since arriving in AEW. This fuelled speculation that Gresham may not be the titleholder following Death Before Dishonor, if Gresham’s match is slated to air on an episode of AEW Dark following the ROH special.

It is currently unclear when this match will air, and it is entirely possible that the bout will be announced for this Tuesday’s (July 19) show, ahead of the pay-per-view.

The updated card for ROH Supercard of Honor is as follows:

  • Jonathan Gresham vs. Claudio Castagnoli – ROH World Championship
  • Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal – ROH World TV Championship
  • Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia – ROH Pure Championship
  • FTR vs. The Briscoes: 2 out of 3 falls – ROH World Tag Team Championship
  • Mercedes Martinez vs. Serena Deeb – ROH Women’s World Championship

Check out the results from Saturday’s AEW Dark taping right here.

Castagnoli has been undefeated since arriving in AEW at Forbidden Door on June 26. Stay up to date with AEW TV win/loss records for 2022 using our tracker at this link.
