Released WWE Star Believes They Were Stagnant For Two Years Prior To Release WWE

A recently released WWE star has reflected on their release, noting that they believed they had been stagnant for two years prior.

WWE released 6 names from their contracts back on April 19, with the most notable being former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

Jinder had returned to the company following the formation of the brand split in 2016, with his release ending his near-eight year second run.

Speaking in a new video on Twitter, Jinder reflected on his release, discussing his mindset following his release from WWE.

He said:

“Gratitude for all of life’s experiences, but at the same time positive and optimistic for the future. I’ve learned that good things don’t happen in life with a negative mind frame.

“So, I’m excited for new opportunities, both in and outside of wrestling. I get a chance to be myself. A chance to show something new. A chance to grow. So overall, this is a positive.

For the past two years I’ve been pretty stagnant and not really growing as a person or performer. So I’m viewing this as a very positive change.”

Jinder seemingly revealed his new post-WWE ring name recently, which you can see here.
