**There has been an update on Riddle’s injury, with it reportedly being kayfabe, with ‘creative adjustments’ resulting in the match being cancelled, which you can read about here**
WWE has announced that Riddle has been ‘medically disqualified’ from competing at SummerSlam due to an injury.
On WWE The Bump, it was revealed that Riddle suffered a stinger (brachial plexus injury) during Seth Rollins’ attack on Monday’s (July 25) edition of WWE Raw.
Confirming that the planned Riddle vs Seth Rollins SummerSlam bout will happen at a later date, WWE tweeted:
BREAKING: @WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.
Due to this injury, Riddle vs. Rollins at #SummerSlam has been postponed.
Riddle’s RKBro tag partner, Randy Orton, is notably out of action dealing with a back injury. Orton is expected to be on the shelf for at least the rest of 2022.
There is no word on when Riddle is expected to return to action.
