Tonight’s NXT 2.0 finally saw the showdown between statistician Kiana James and Nikkita Lyons in the ring!
As her momentum continues to build in advance of her entrance into the main roster Tag Team Women’s Tournament, Nikkita Lyons picked up a big win.
With both competitors showing off impressive offense, the match was relatively short to kick off NXT 2.0 for tonight, August 9.
Displaying her signature and highly unique pin style, Nikkita Lyons picked up the victory via pinfall.
However, her celebration was cut short as Kiana James hit her from behind with her statistician briefcase, as she stood tall to end the segment.
Nikkita Lyons is set to perform on the main roster as she competes against WWE Raw and/or WWE SmackDown Women’s stars in the Tag Team Women’s Tournament which kicked off on this past week’s episode of WWE Raw.
Nikkita Lyons will be teaming with another NXT 2.0 powerhouse, Zoey Stark who is set to face Mandy Rose for her NXT Women’s Championship on next week’s (August 16) Heatwave edition of NXT 2.0.
