With Triple H taking over as the head of creative on the WWE main roster following the retirement of Vince McMahon, his best friend Shawn Michaels has been running operations down in NXT.
As such, Michaels was recently given a new role in the company to accomodate the position change, and his new official title has been revealed.
Per the official press release that WWE sent out today, announcing the creation of NXT Europe, Michaels was credited as the Vice President of Talent Development Creative, which seems to be his new role in the company.
The NXT UK brand is set to go on hiatus following Worlds Collide on September 4, with NXT Europe set to launch in 2023.
The NXT UK talent is reportedly set to be spread between the NXT 2.0 brand and the NXT Europe brand, with the decision being made in 2023 where they will end up.
If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
