A new report has noted that AEW stars had to “adjust content” on this week’s Dynamite due to ban on mentioning All Out controversy.
After the AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk got into a heated backstage altercation with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks of The Elite, which also involved Ace Steel.
The company suspended all those involved in the fight and vacated the AEW World Title and Trios Championships due to the incident.
Tony Khan made the announcement without mentioning Punk, Omega and The Bucks. None of the performers mentioned the key participants in the Brawl Out 2022 fight.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), much of the AEW roster didn’t know what they were going to be allowed to say or if they could address it, and some of their content had to be adjusted accordingly.
There was no mention of the Brawl Out 2022 situation on commentary, in promos, on social media or elsewhere, which supports this story.
We will have further updates on the fallout from the All Out controversy when they become available.
