A WWE Hall of Famer has congratulated Jon Moxley on his AEW World Championship win at Dynamite Grand Slam.
Dating back to his time in WWE developmental, Jon Moxley has shared an interesting history with Hardcore Legend Mick Foley.
Foley has always been a vocal supporter of Moxley’s work, even his recent work with All Elite Wrestling.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twiiter to shower praise on Mox following his historic victory over Bryan Danielson on the September 21 edition of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.
CONGRATULATIONS MOX!
Jon Moxley gets my vote as male MVP, thus far in 2022.
I talk about this pick in some detail on the next episode of @FoleyIsPod
There is definitely a strong argument for Moxley to be the MVP of 2022 in wrestling. He has consistently been the most reliable performer for AEW at a time they desperately have needed him.
Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to win the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions and vacant AEW World Title. This marks the third reign as champion for Moxley.
