Former IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard has now provided an update on her wrestling future.
Blanchard returned to the ring earlier this year at the July 16 Hurricane Pro Wrestling event. She has wrestled several times since then for Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling, most recently stepping into the ring in September.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Blanchard revealed that the actually has been studying at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
Noting that her current focus is her own happiness, Blanchard said:
“I kind of do that on purpose. I like to keep some things for me, some things for my family. Right now, I’m in school….that’s my main focus right now. I try to do one or two of the wrestling get-togethers or matches a month. Honestly, not too much more than that at the moment.
“Yeah (she has been taking bookings), doing whatever makes me feel happy. That’s really my main focus right now, my happiness. I don’t want to compromise my happiness for anything. Not for money, not for popularity, not for followers, not for any of that.”
Blanchard was originally set to be the face of the WOW Wrestling relaunch, but issues arose between her and the company.
