YouTuber-turned-professional wrestler Logan Paul has opened up about who he would like to defend the WWE Championship against if he wins it.
Paul will face Roman Reigns this weekend on November 5 at WWE Crown Jewel, in a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Paul has repeatedly mentioned in the run up to the match that while he does not necessarily expect to out-wrestle Reigns, all he needs to do to be successful is “land one lucky punch” at the right moment.
Speaking to SportBible, Paul was very clear about who he would like to face at WrestleMania 39 should he manage to best Roman Reigns this coming Saturday.
He said:
“Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson baby. It has to be because we have so much history. We go way back and he’s larger than life man.
“I like taking on those types of personalities. So it has to be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania.”
Paul has proven to be quite adept when it comes to professional wrestling; though he has only had two matches thus far – a tag team match alongside the Miz vs the Mysterios at WrestleMania 38 and a singles match against the Miz at this year’s SummerSlam – he excelled in both of them.
This Saturday’s WWE Crown Jewel event is set to still go ahead following news of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia being on red alert for an imminent attack from Iran.
WWE has ’emergency plans’ in place should anything happen to jeopardise the show.
