Wheeler Yuta has reacted to William Regal turning on Jon Moxley in the main event of AEW Full Gear.
In the final match of the November 19 pay-per-view, Jon Moxley defended his AEW World Championship against MJF.
Towards the end of the bout, William Regal slid his brass knuckles to MJF when Moxley’s back was turned, allowing MJF to score a victory over Moxley and win the AEW World Title.
Many have wondered what Regal’s turn means for the Blackpool Combat Club, the group the wrestling veteran formed after joining AEW in March.
While some have speculated that other members might side with Regal and MJF, it doesn’t seem like Wheeler Yuta will want to work with Regal anytime soon.
Shortly after the main event, Yuta tweeted:
“f**king snake”
Well, without the stars, but you get the idea.
The rest of the Blackpool Combat Club comforted Jon Moxley after the show went off the air, informing the former champion of his mentor’s betrayal.
Yuta joined the Blackpool Combat Club on the April 8 edition of Rampage, following an impressive showing against Jon Moxley.
Following the bout, Regal offered Yuta a spot in the group, following weeks of teases regarding a potential role in the faction.
Yuta notably left the Best Friends to join the Blackpool Combat Club, accepting William Regal as his new mentor.
Interestingly, the rising star was MJF’s last opponent before his AEW World Title win, with Yuta and MJF facing off on the October 5 edition of Dynamite.
