Eddie Kingston has now been pulled from some upcoming OTT Wrestling events after testing positive for COVID 19.
OTT took to Twitter to reveal that Kingston is currently isolating, and won’t be competing at the ScrapperMania 7 or The Show After Mania events on March 17, 18 and 19.
OTT Wrestling tweeted:
Unfortunately Eddie Kingston has tested positive for Covid and is currently isolated, as a result he can no longer appear at OTT #Wolverhampton #Dublin & #Belfast
However
Man Like Dereiss 🆚 NJPWs Gabriel Kidd in Wolverhampton
Davey Richards 🆚 Big Damo in Dublin
Belfast TBC
Kingston is not the only name under contract with Tony Khan to be pulled from these OTT shows, with Jon Moxley pulled from the cards ‘due to circumstances out of their control’ back in February.
After the March 1 edition of Dynamite, Kingston ‘quit’ AEW in a backstage segment. Kingston hasn’t wrestled for AEW since, but has appeared on ROH TV, in matches taped ahead of his quitting AEW segment.
Kingston has since addressed his decision to ‘quit’ AEW, which you can read more about right here.
We wish Kingston a safe and healthy recovery.
