Seth Rollins captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE’s premium live event, Night of Champions by besting AJ Styles to be crowned the inaugural champ.
Now his first title defense has been announced and it is intriguing!
Proving indeed to be a fighting champion, Rollins is wasting no time putting the title on the line, ready to defend it over this coming weekend at a WWE house show.
According to a report from PWInsider, the top matches listed for this Saturday June 3 lineup at the WWE Supershow house show (or “live event”) are:
WWE World Heavweight Champion Seth Rollins’ first title defense vs. The Miz.
Cody Rhodes vs. Finn Balor in a White Plain Street Fight.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. The Viking Raiders.
Bianca Belair vs. Bayley
Reportedly Rhea Ripley is also advertised as appearing but without a listed opponent.
Saturday will mark the first time WWE has returned to White Plains, New York since 2019.
Seth Rollins gave a rousing promo on this week’s Monday Night Raw (May 29) vowing to be both a present and fighting champion with plans to never shrink from a challenge.
