The second annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view is set to take place tonight in Toronto, Canada.
The show will feature many top matches, including a Wrestle Kingdom 17 rematch for the IWGP United States Championship between Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.
Ospreay made a surprise appearance to close out the June 14 episode of Dynamite, with him also making a brief appearance on this week’s Dynamite, where Don Callis spoke to Ospreay ahead of the match.
Now, in speaking to Dark Puroresu Flowsion ahead of Forbidden Door, Ospreay was asked if he was ready to fight off ‘all of Canada’ at the show.
Ospreay gave a simple response, saying:
“Ready to fight 13,000 d**khead Canadians”
It was announced on last night’s AEW Collision that the AEW World Championship match between MJF and Hiroshi Tanahashi will open up tonight’s Forbidden Door event in Toronto.
It has been reported that the belief is that Ospreay and Omega’s rematch for the IWGP United States Championship is set to headline tonight’s event.
