A new report has revealed a major update on Vince McMahon’s status for tonight’s SmackDown at Madison Square Garden.
Since retaking his role in WWE creative earlier this year, there has been a close eye directed on Vince McMahon being backstage at events.
Things were considered “chaotic” following his appearance backstage at the Raw after WrestleMania 39, while his recent visit at the Hartford Raw was less unexpected.
Other than those two shows, McMahon hasn’t been backstage but has been working in creative meetings remotely and making changes to plans whenever he deems necessary.
Per PWInsider, Vince McMahon is indeed backstage at tonight’s July 7 edition of WWE SmackDown from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Providing the deal with Endeavor all gets finalized in the expected timeframe, tonight will likely be the final WWE show at MSG under 100% McMahon ownership.
WrestleTalk will provide their readers with updates on McMahon’s status for tonight’s SmackDown when they become available.
