A hilarious pre-show AEW commentary video has surfaced online.
Some of the funniest moments in wrestling occur when the performers think the cameras aren’t rolling just yet.
Despite the many occasions that have caught even the all time greats, it seems that just about anyone is liable to get have these hilarious moments, even the commentary team.
Ahead of Wednesday’s July 19 “Blood & Guts” edition of AEW Dynamite, cameras started rolling for the feed on the Roku app where ring announcer Justin Roberts is introducing the AEW commentary team to the crowd in Boston. Roberts introduced Tony Schiavone as “an absolute legend” to the fans.
Believing that the cameras were not rolling and picking up what he was saying, Excalibur quipped to his colleagues:
“Absolute legend? Legendary piece of s**t.”
This definitely seemed to come off in a joking manner to both parties involved, but the video does show Taz and the rest of the team being informed which camera was rolling and heard the exchange with Excalibur’s shocked face notably priceless.
Roku app would only show 5 minutes before TV and none of the actual episode of Dynamite. Funny commentary that shouldn’t have been public.
